Penn State Berks offers an opportunity for students interested in living with others who share common interests and goals. Special Living Options (SLOs) are open to all students provided they have an interest in the theme. Students interested in a SLO can contact the Housing and Food Service office for more information about how to request a SLO.

The following SLOs are available at Berks:

Computer/Technology
The purpose of this Special Living Option is to enhance students' skills and knowledge of computers and technology, and to provide modern technological resources.

Leadership
This option helps students develop leadership skills through programs, seminars, and guest speakers (college faculty and leaders in political, social, and business arenas).

Substance-Free Living
This option consists of students who choose to abstain from drug and alcohol use.
