The Commonwealth Campus system,
a division of Auxiliary and Business Services, was created to
be the best teaching and learning enterprise in Pennsylvania,
representing Penn State education at its finest. The colleges
and campuses serve the educational needs of local Pennsylvania
communities by promoting the development of intellectual and
personal excellence in a supportive and inclusive learning community.

Housing and Food
Services is represented at nine of the 24 Penn State locations
(not including University Park). A director of Housing and
Food Services, as well as one to four managers (depending
on the size of the operation), oversees the management of
the following areas at each location: room assignments, housing
facilities, dining services, catering, conferences, Penn State
id+ Cards, mail services, Bryce Jordan Center ticket outlets
(Altoona only), and marketing.
The
administrative team for Housing and Food Services is based
at University Park, and is responsible for managing the overall
operation of each campus. The administrative team oversees
budgets, future plans, construction and renovations, marketing,
project management, human resources, purchasing, and other
areas. The team works closely with each campus and with student
leaders to ensure that services provided by Housing and Food
Services meet students’ needs.

State Altoona |
| Penn State Altoona
is located in the Ivyside section of northern Altoona.
Enrollment is about 4,000 students, with more than 900
residing on campus. Residence facilities include traditional
living in Oak and Maple Halls and suite living in Spruce
and Cedar Halls. Students dine in Port-Sky Cafe, a full-scale
food court located close to the residence area. The Cafe
features flame-broiled items, grilled specialties, traditional
entrees, hand-tossed pizza, a large salad bar, and convenient
grab ‘n go items. Common Grounds coffee shop and Coasters Coffee Bar offers
students a wide variety of beverage and pastry choices. |

State Beaver |
|
Penn State Beaver is located
approximately 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Enrollment
is 800 students, with more than 200 residing on campus in Harmony
Hall, a traditional residence hall. Brodhead Bistro
features flame-broiled items, grilled specialties, traditional
entrees, hand-tossed pizza, and a salad bar.

State Erie, The Behrend College |
|
Located in Erie, Penn State
Erie, The Behrend College, has an enrollment of 3,700
students, with over 1,500 residing on campus. Residence
options include traditional living in Perry, Niagara,
and Lawrence Halls, suite living in Tiffany, Tigress,
Porcupine, and Senat Halls, private suite living in
Almy and Ohio Halls, and apartment living for upperclass
students. Behrend features two dining facilities, the
Gazebo at Dobbins, an all-you-care-to-eat food court
that offers traditional entrees, wok station, pizza,
fresh pasta, grilled specialties, a large salad bar,
and deli station. Bruno’s Café provides
great food, late-night hours, and a fun atmosphere.
Bruno’s features pizza, burgers, subs, salads,
wraps, soups, and convenient grab ‘n go items. The Cafe at RED-C provides convenient grab 'n go items and beverages.

State Berks |
Penn State Berks is located
two miles south of Reading. Enrollment is 2,500
students, with over
800 currently residing on campus. Residence facilities
include The Village, which offers traditional suite
living in a complex of six buildings, and The Woods,
which provides single and double occupancy suites.
Students dine at Tully’s, a modern food court
that offers hand-tossed and gourmet pizzas, a New
York-style deli, grilled specialties, a rotisserie
oven, display cooking, traditional entrees, a large
salad bar, and a convenient grab ‘n go items.
The Cyber Café in the Thun Library provides
students with a wide variety of beverage and pastry
choices.

State Harrisburg |
|
Penn State Harrisburg
is located in Middletown, just minutes from the state’s
capital. Enrollment is 2,100 undergraduate students
and 1,500 graduate students. The Village at Capital
College apartment complex offers 72 single-bedroom apartments
with fully equipped kitchens for four students. Stacks
Market features a brick oven, a deli station, grilled
specialties, traditional entrees, display cooking, and
convenient grab ‘n go items. Biscotti’s
Coffee Bar offers a variety of beverage and pastry choices.

Penn State Hazleton is
located in northeastern Pennsylvania. Enrollment is
1,300 students, with over 450 residing on campus. Residence
options include traditional living in South Hall, townhouse
living in West Hall, and suite living in North Hall.
Students dine at HighAcres Cafe, a full-scale food court
that offers a rotisserie oven, fresh pasta and pizza,
grilled specialties, traditional entrees, a large salad
bar, and convenient grab ‘n go items. Higher Grounds in the Butler Building offers a variety of beverage choices and grab 'n go sandwiches and salads.

Penn State Greater Allegheny
is located 11 miles south of Pittsburgh. Enrollment
is 800 students, with over 200 residing on campus. Students
enjoy traditional living in McKeesport Hall. A new food
court in the Student Community Center offers a deli
station, hand-tossed pizza, grilled specialties, traditional
entrees, display cooking, and convenient grab ‘n
go items. The Coffee Bar offers a variety of beverage
and pastry choices.

Penn State Mont Alto
is located near Chambersburg, in the heart of south-central
Pennsylvania. Enrollment is 1,200 students, with 440
residing on campus. Residence options include traditional
living in Mont Alto Hall and suite living in Penn Gate
I and Penn Gate II. Penn State Mont Alto features a
modern food court, Millstream Cafe, which offers fresh
pasta and hand-tossed pizza, grilled specialties, a
deli station, traditional entrees, a large salad bar,
and convenient grab ‘n go items.

is located near Pottsville. Enrollment is 1,070, with
260 living on campus. Housing and Food Services currently
operates the Hidden Stream Café, a modern food
court located in the Student Community Center that features

traditional entrees, a salad bar, and convenient grab
‘n go items.
