East Halls is the largest residence hall complex on campus. Most of the space in East's 14 residence halls is reserved for first-year students, who share double rooms with one roommate. A few sororities occupy space in East Halls.

A computer lab, a branch of the Penn State Bookstore, and a University Learning Center
are conveniently located in the community to help enhance your academic experience.
A Residential Computing (ResCom) Office is located in the commons area—and is staffed by students who are experienced in assisting with various computer issues. And the Business Building is right across the street. It is the largest academic building on campus.
Covered walkways lead from the residence halls to Findlay/Johnston Commons. In addition to Findlay Dining Commons, several food service facilities are located in East Halls, including Good 2 Go (a convenience store), Roxy's (á la
carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner), Fresh Express (á la
carte lunch and dinner), and The Big Onion (a pizza and sub shop).
Within a short walking distance are Bryce Jordan Center, Beaver Stadium, intramural fields, and the Ag Arena.
