Living on Campus After Your First Year
On-campus housing is not guaranteed after your first year.
First year students are given the priority for on campus housing. The remaining space is offered to those students wanting to return to campus through the eLiving contract request system. Sometimes the demand for on-campus housing exceeds space available. This means that if you request a Housing and Food Service Contract for your sophomore, junior, and/or senior years, there is a chance that you will not receive on-campus housing.
If you do remain on campus, the housing options available to you will depend on your class standing. Resident students can request a suite, a single room, or an on-campus apartment for their sophomore, junior, and/or senior years. Junior- and senior-year housing is also available in Eastview Terrace, which offers single rooms with private baths. Only students who live on campus are eligible to request contracts for these very popular rooms. University Park students who have moved off campus are not eligible to request Housing and Food Service Contracts. Find out when you’ll be eligible to apply for a suite, single room, or apartment at
