North Halls
Many first-year students live in the all-coed North Halls residence area, the smallest housing complex on campus. Students must belong to a Special Living Option to live in North Halls. North Halls accommodate students in two- and four-person suites. Suitemates share a private bath.

Warnock Commons is conveniently located in North Halls. In addition to the all-you-care-to-eat dining commons, Warnock features the BlueSpoon Deli, which offers á la carte breakfasts, fresh sandwiches, salads, pizza, subs, specialty items, and an evening snack bar. A Residential Computing (ResCom) Office is located in the commons area—and is staffed by students who are experienced in assisting with various computer issues.
The Palmer Museum of Art and The Playhouse Theatre are adjacent to the area—and University Libraries, Penn State museums, and Eisenhower Chapel are also nearby. Sports and fitness activities available within the complex include tennis, basketball (with outdoor lighted courts), and volleyball. Residents also have the option of participating in organized leagues.
