International Students
Undergraduate and graduate students from other countries may request on-campus housing at Penn State University Park.
Undergraduate Students
Most undergraduate students live in North, South, East, West, or Pollock Halls; Eastview Terrace; or Nittany Apartments. Undergraduate students with families may apply to live in White Course Apartments.
The housing options you are eligible for will depend on several factors, including the number of credits you have completed.
All students who live in the residence halls must purchase the Campus Meal Plan.
First-year students are required to live on campus and will be assigned to housing in the order that their acceptance fees are received.
It is to your advantage to send in your fees as soon as you decide to attend Penn State. The later you send in your fees, the greater your chance of being assigned to supplemental housing rather than to a regular room.
- Find out how to secure and submit your Housing and Food Service Contract through the eLiving Housing Contract System.
Transfer students must submit the Housing Request Card (included in the admissions packet) if they wish to live on campus.
Students with families may apply to live in White Course Apartments by submitting an application.
Graduate Students
Single graduate students and students with families are eligible to apply for housing at White Course Apartments. Postdoctoral students are not eligible for on-campus housing.
Students who live in White Course Apartments may purchase the Campus Meal Plan.
