All Penn State students residing in on-campus housing, including residence halls and apartments, are required by state law to comply with the College and University Student Vaccination Act. Passed in June 2002, the law requires that students acknowledge the Meningococcal Vaccination Certification requirement.

To comply with this law, the student must submit his/her acknowledgement of this requirement online through University Health Services. The student will certify that he/she has received the meningococcal vaccination or is requesting a waiver to the requirement.

If the student does not complete the online acknowledgment prior to arrival, the student will need to complete an acknowledgment form upon check-in. The acknowledgment only needs to be submitted once.
